Manufactured with a one-piece cast iron structure, the ID-MAX 500 L features linear ball guideways. This type of guideway ensures smoother and more precise movement while requiring less maintenance. Additionally, they can withstand significant cutting forces and effectively absorb vibrations, thereby improving tool life and machining quality.
Thanks to the four-guideway bed design, the movements of the X and Z carriage are not limited by the position of the tailstock, thus reducing the risk of collisions.
Electrical cabinet & SAFETY function
The easily accessible electrical cabinet of the ID-MAX 500 L slant bed lathes is composed of multiple SIEMENS components to ensure the machine’s longevity. The “SAFETY” function is integrated by default to provide optimal protection for operators.
